Kimberly Higgs

Executive Director

Kimberley Higgs was appointed to this role in January 2016, and  has been working in the field of psychiatric rehabilitation since 1990. She has been a member of NJPRA since 1992, joining the Board of Directors in 2008 and has served as a vice-president of the organization between 2010 and 2014, focusing on training and staff development opportunities for the membership.  Most recebntly employed by Volunteers of America –Greater New York, Inc., serving as Director of Behavioral Health for New Jersey, she oversaw the development and provision of supportive and supervised housing for adults with mental illness and developmental disabilities betwenn 2004 and 2015.  Ms. Higgs received her bachelor’s of art degree in psychology from Montclair State University and her master of social work degree from New York University.  She is licensed clinical social worker (LCSW).
